Caymus Equity Partners LLC (“Caymus Equity”) has announced that its portfolio company, Excel Orthopedic Rehabilitation, P.A. (“Excel” or the “Company”), has acquired Heart & Soul Rehabilitation, LLC (“Heart & Soul”). Heart & Soul is a physical therapy clinic led by a veteran team with over 20 years of experience treating orthopedic and cardiopulmonary injuries. This acquisition serves to further Excel’s presence as a best-in-class provider of rehabilitation services in the New Jersey area.
The transaction represents the second strategic acquisition for Excel since Caymus Equity partnered with PNC Mezzanine Capital, Deerpath Capital Management, L.P., and management to complete a majority recapitalization in November 2016.
