Catalis Dental Lab Partners Acquires Midwest Dental Arts
July 2026

Catalis Dental Lab Partners, a portfolio company of Caymus Equity, has acquired Midwest Dental Arts ("MDA"), a nationally recognized dental laboratory based in Palm Bay, Florida. The acquisition is Catalis's sixth under Caymus Equity's ownership, and brings the platform's nationwide footprint to 14 locations, deepening its leadership in complex, specialized restorative work.

For over 25 years, Midwest Dental Arts has served specialist dentists who demand the highest quality products. From its base in Palm Bay, Florida, MDA has become the lab doctors trust with their most visible and complex cases, backed by a design-first, fully in-house digital workflow and deep expertise in cosmetic and full-mouth implant restorations.

Catalis and MDA are natural partners — both are technology-forward, in-house producers focused on serving dentists with the quality, precision, and reliability their most complex cases demand. MDA will retain its name, facilities, and leadership team, with no disruption to day-to-day operations. Through the partnership, MDA will gain access to the shared resources, digital tools, and operational support of the broader Catalis network.

MDA deepens Catalis's leadership in digital full-arch and implant restorations — the fastest-growing and highest-value segment of the dental laboratory market — while adding a marquee specialist brand to the platform's family of labs. Its addition broadens Catalis's range of capabilities and allows the platform to share best practices across its network of labs, a decisive step toward Catalis's goal of becoming a true end-to-end, one-stop partner for dentists nationwide.

"MDA is one of the most respected specialist labs in the country, and its focus on complex, design-driven work is exactly where dentistry — and our platform — is headed. Together we can give dentists the full spectrum of care, from everyday restorations to their most demanding cases, without ever sending work outside the network," said Judson Boothe, CEO of Catalis Dental Lab Partners.

The transaction reflects Catalis's continued strategy of disciplined growth through partnerships with premier laboratories that have strong reputations and complementary expertise, as it builds a technology-forward, national network positioned at the forefront of the dental laboratory industry.
