Moeris, a portfolio company of Caymus Equity, has acquired Stay Safe Traffic Control, a full-service work zone safety and traffic control provider serving North Carolina. The acquisition extends the Moeris platform into the Carolinas and brings its family of operating companies to four, deepening the platform's Mid-Atlantic and Southeast presence.

Founded in 2016 and operating from Garner and Angier, North Carolina, Stay Safe has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality traffic control with integrity. The company's ATSSA- and DOT-certified workforce serves customers across North Carolina, anchored by a culture of employee care and customer continuity.

The combination creates a strong strategic fit. Both businesses share a commitment to safety, reliability, and doing the job right. Stay Safe will retain its name, leadership, locations, and operational structure, with no disruption to day-to-day operations. Through the partnership, Stay Safe will gain access to Moeris' shared safety systems, procurement scale, and back-office support — resources that will allow the company to invest further in its people and expand its capabilities.

Alongside Richmond Traffic Control, Stay Safe deepens Moeris' presence across the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast corridor, giving the platform four operating companies with coverage spanning the Rocky Mountains, Pacific Northwest, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeast.
